What the extra money buys
About US$27 more, Lumineer Adventure Tours' sunset tour adds pickup from designated Perth CBD hotels, sandboarding on the Lancelin dunes, a cooked BBQ in place of a picnic, and a refund if weather stops the stargazing. Autopia Tours’ cheaper tour starts and ends at the Criterion Hotel Perth and selected inner-city points, and its telescope is weather permitting.
About US$48 more, Australian Pinnacle Tours' full day trades the sunset for daylight and adds Caversham Wildlife Park, a fish and chips lunch and 45 minutes by 4WD on the Lancelin dunes.
Less money, on some dates: Tour2Holiday's day tour was the lowest GetYourGuide price we found for a Pinnacles tour on two dates read in November 2026: US$129 on promotion (usually US$144) for the 28 November and 5 December departures. On the 21 November and 12 January departures the price was US$144, about US$7 above the Autopia Tours sunset tour. You pay for your own lunch at the Lobster Shack, sandboarding is extra, it has only ten reviews, and national park entry is not among the things it includes, so ask before you book.

GetYourGuide or Viator?
Several of these tours sell on both sites, and neither is always lower. Autopia Tours’ sunset tour is Pinnacles Sunset Stargazing Dinner Experience Small Group Tour on Viator at US$139, a few dollars more than on GetYourGuide. Lumineer Adventure Tours' tour sells there as Pinnacles Desert Sunset Dinner and Stargazing Tour at US$154, about US$9 less (checked November 2026). The operators price in Australian dollars, so what you pay in another currency depends on the day’s conversion.
The lowest-priced sunset tour we found on either site is on Viator only: Wildlife Tours Australia's Pinnacles Desert Sunset Stargazing Adventure Tour at US$122 (checked November 2026), with a picnic dinner, local sparkling wine and a telescope.
Private, per head
A private day looks dear until you divide it. Perth Short Stay Tours' private day at US$858 for a group of up to 9 is about US$215 each for four people and about US$95 each for nine. Small-group and private tours compares it with the small-group days.
Driving yourself
The park fee is A$17 per vehicle of up to 12 people, A$10 per motorcycle, and A$8 a person in a vehicle carrying more than 12 (Parks and Wildlife Service WA, checked November 2026). On top of that come car hire and fuel for 189 km each way, and the evening tours’ dinner and telescope you would have to bring yourself.
Children
Autopia Tours’ Lobster Shack day charges child fares from 6 to 12 and does not take children 5 and under; its sunset tour takes children from 6.
